My Christmas wishlist

IMG_3021

This is not a post I’d normally write but considering all my posts for the next week and a half have to be about Christmas, I thought I’d throw in my wish list.

To me the most important thing about Christmas is the food, followed by the music, the decorations and the traditions but coming in a close fifth is of course presents. My birthday is at the beginning of December so by the time this month has come around I normally have a huge list of ideas that I feel I really want/need.

I thought as part of my “12 blogs of Christmas” I’d go a little personal and lrt you all in on what I am wanting from good old Chris Cringle this year.

Ipad

I am currently writing this blog post on my mums iPad, over the last few months it has become apparent to me that an IPad is essential. I used to dismiss people when they told me how much I need an iPad because I had an iPhone and a laptop so surely that’s everything I need. Recently I’ve realised that I was wrong.
I am always on trains trying to write and edit my blog posts on my tiny iPhone screen. With an iPad I’d be able to slip it in my handbag and blog and do my coursework on the go.
Also I love to read and it’s fantastic to be able to have quick access to newspaper articles and blogs that I read every day. Which will be even more useful when I’m off to university in September to study Journalism.

Sex and the city boxset- the essential collection

image

I’m not exaggerating when I say that Sex and the city is my life. I watch it every single day from season 1 to season 6 and when I’ve finished all the seasons and go straight back to the beginning again.
It is safe to say I am obsessed. I used to watch it online until he website got banned which is completely devastating, however luckily for me tesco are currently selling a dvd of every single episode for £20. What a bargain!

Marks and Spencer touch screen gloves

image

Apparently these have existed for a few years now but I was amazed when I walked into Marks and Spencer to find gloves that you can use your phone whilst wearing. They have special little pads on the thumb and index finger that respond to a touch screen. I am someone who feels the cold so terribly and you’ll normally find me wearing 4 or 5 layers in Winter. Therefore taking my gloves off to reply to a text message or change the song I’m listening to is a huge faff and my fingers end up blue. This is such a simple gift but it’s something that I believe is essential and ever so slightly life changing

Pandora charm

I adore jewellery and a few years ago when pandora was all the rage I obviously jumped on the bandwagon and got one for my 16th birthday. My pandora bracelet is my favourite possession as it is now full of memories and reminders of the last two years. Every charm I have tells a story and it makes me smile when I look down at my wrist and I am reminded of great memories and incredible people in my life.

Relaxing essentials

I am the type of person that gets very stressed and tense and looking after myself is a priority of mine. I love all of those “typical gifts” such as bath sets and body cremes because my favourite thing to do is have a hot bubble bath and make myself feel good on the outside in order to feel better on the inside. Therefore for Christmas I’d love to be bombarded with scented candles, bubble bath, body cream, hand cream. Any of those gift sets that are normally half price in boots around this time. Preferably strawberry scented as I am obsessed with that scent at the moment as it is so refreshing.

So that’s what I want for Christmas this year, so Santa if you are reading this remember that I’ve been extra good this year. I mean I’ve stuck to my “12 blogs of Christmas” for a good three days which is remarkable for me.
